When so many people spend the days in their own homes due to the Covid-19 Pandemic, there surely has to be something that can bring friends and family together, even if only by shared interest. The Personal Ministries Department in Scotland has rolled out the beginnings of such ideas. Activities for all age groups allow for everyone to take part, even the over 50's. These activities are easy and can be done in any home, making use of whatever is around the house.
The idea is to make pictures or whatever other art is possible of a selected scene. At the Scottish Mission Day of Fellowship, there will be a display and 19 prizes can be won. As you or your family are working on your project take a picture of you or the kids working on your projects, not the product itself, and send it in to firstname.lastname@example.org. Every other Friday there will be a picture presentation on our Scottish Mission Facebook page, made of these pictures.
Another project the Scottish Mission wants to pioneer, is the Writing of the Bible in our own handwriting. This is also a project for everyone, and we hope as many as possible to take part in this. The complete work of writing the Bible, will also be on display at the Scottish Mission Day of Fellowship. Will your handiwork be there? Let's see if we can complete at least the New Testament. Every Friday there will be an update on Facebook to tell how far we have reached.
Choose your project and follow the instructions on the posters above.
