Those of our readers who have any kind of connection with the Stanborough Press and the publishing work in the United Kingdom will probably find the following videos of incredible interest. Filmed an incredible ninety-five years ago in 1927, the videos show what life was like for Stanborough Press workers in the period between the two world wars, showcasing frock coats, highly starched collars, pocket watches, antique speaking tubes and typewriters. Some great scenes of conviviality and recreation are also shown, along with candid footage of workers going about their daily duties.

The current British Union Conference executive secretary, Pastor John Surridge, received the old 16mm films from Jon Meredith, the great-grandson of BUC President W. H. Meredith, and had them digitised, adding some music.

We trust these videos will prove of interest to you and provide you with a fresh appreciation for the Lord’s publishing work throughout the last century or so.
