The Seventh-day Adventist church in Scotland joins hands with our counterparts in other parts of the country and the world, as we pass on our sincere condolences to the Royal Family, at the passing of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II. The Queen has lived a full life and obviously enjoyed her reign as monarch, and we as church appreciate her life.
The Queen has displayed honour and faith publicly, and she was a great example to this nation, as to the values we can live by. The Church, always seeking to enhance a better way of life, noticed how The Queen ruled with dignity and respect.
Most of us have only known one monarch, and now, the baton is passed on to our new King. The Seventh-day Adventist Church in Scotland pray for our new King, Charles III. We pray for God’s presence in the new monarch’s life, and for God’s Spirit to be present in the household and family of this monarch. May his reign, just as that of his mother Elizabeth, enjoy the blessings of God.
