We live in a fast-paced world where most of our communication happens online and most of the information we absorb on a daily basis comes through online sources. The Scottish Mission leadership recognizes the central role of digital communication in today’s society and has engaged in discussions focused on improving the Mission’s internal and external communications. As a result of these conversations, the Scottish Mission Executive Committee has decided to expand the personnel of the Mission’s Communications Department. Mrs Hellevi Walker, the Administrative Secretary for the Scottish Mission, has agreed to take on the additional part-time role of Communications Manager. Pr Weiers Coetser, the SM Communications Sponsor, with the additional support of Hellevi Walker, will strive to work closely with local church and departmental leaders to develop the online presence of the Scottish Mission and improve ways in which information is disseminated.
