Join us for an inspiring group hike to Buachaille Etive Mòr, one of Scotland’s most iconic Munros. Come and enjoy the stunning scenery, fresh air, and the chance to connect with fellow hiking enthusiasts!

Hiking Scottish mountains in September means you're likely to face cool to mild temperatures at the base (10–15°C) and cold, wet, or windy conditions at the summit (2–5°C, possibly lower with wind chill).

🎒 Gear List

● 20–30L daypack with rain cover

● Trekking poles

● Water (at least 1.5L)

● Thermos with hot drinks (not essential but recommended)

● Food/snacks – high-energy snacks (nuts, bars, dried fruit, sandwiches)

● Headtorch – sunset is ~7:30pm and weather can reduce visibility

● Whistle & emergency blanket

● Basic first aid kit – plasters, blister care, painkillers, etc.

● Dry bags / ziplock bags for clothing, electronics

● Small bag for rubbish (Leave No Trace)

🧥 Clothing List (dress in layers)

● 👕 Base layer (top and bottom) – moisture-wicking short or long sleeve (synthetic!)

● 🧥 Mid layer – fleece

● 🧥 Outer layer – fully waterproof and windproof jacket (with hood)

● 👖 Hiking trousers – avoid jeans; choose quick-drying, stretchy trousers

● 🧦 Hiking socks – wool or synthetic, not cotton.

● 🧢 Hat/beanie – sun hat or warm hat depending on weather

● 🧤 Gloves –(preferably waterproof and insulated)

● 👟 Hiking boots – (preferably waterproof and with ankle support)
