An Easter Greeting from the Scottish Mission President
A message of hope and renewal from Pastor Jimmy Botha.
As Easter approaches, we are reminded once again that the heart of our faith is the risen Christ. In a world often marked by uncertainty, strain, and sorrow, the resurrection of Jesus speaks a better word: hope, life, and new beginnings. Easter reminds us that our confidence is not rooted in circumstances but in the living Saviour who has overcome death and continues to transform lives today.
The empty tomb declares that despair does not have the final word. Christ is risen, and because He lives, there is hope for weary hearts, courage for uncertain days, and purpose for God’s people. The hope of Easter is a gift we have gratefully received and one we are called to share abundantly. As the Scottish Mission continues to seek thriving, Christ-centred communities across Scotland, may this season renew in us a deep love for Jesus and a fresh commitment to reflect His grace with compassion, generosity, and faith.
He is risen indeed. And because He lives, we move forward with hope.
With Easter hope,
Pastor Jimmy Botha
