Four Scottish Mission Teams Head to Poland for TED Bible Experience Finals

Four Scottish Mission teams advance to TED Finals as 40 young Pathfinders dedicate their lives to God.

On 7 March 2026, young Adventurers and Pathfinders from across the United Kingdom gathered at Newbold College for the British Union Conference (BUC) level testing of the Adventurer Bible Experience (ABE) and Pathfinder Bible Experience (PBE). The event brought together teams representing the South England Conference, Welsh Mission, and Scottish Mission, all united by their commitment to studying and understanding the Word of God.

Throughout the day, children and young people demonstrated remarkable dedication, answering challenging questions drawn from months of Bible study and preparation. The atmosphere at Newbold College was one of excitement, encouragement, and spiritual reflection, with teams supporting one another and celebrating their shared journey through Scripture.

The Scottish Mission teams performed exceptionally well, with several achieving results that now qualify them to represent the BUC at the Trans-European Division (TED) level testing. These teams — one PBE team from Aberdeen and three ABE teams from Aberdeen, Edinburgh, and Glasgow — will travel to Katowice on 11 April 2026 to join other young Bible students from across the division in the next stage of the competition.

While the participants’ knowledge was impressive, the most significant outcome was spiritual. A total of 40 Pathfinders across the Union made the decision to dedicate their lives to God and prepare for baptism. In addition, 16 young people requested Bible studies, and 44 submitted prayer requests covering a range of personal and family matters. Leaders and volunteers have been praying over these requests since the event, reflecting the deep spiritual impact of the day.

Leaders, parents, and supporters expressed gratitude for the dedication of the children and the guidance of Pathfinder and Adventurer staff. “Events like ABE and PBE continue to show how focused Bible study can shape the lives of young people,” one leader commented.

As Scottish Mission teams prepare for the finals, the church family is invited to keep them in prayer, asking that their continued journey through Scripture strengthens their faith, deepens their understanding of God’s Word, and inspires others to follow Christ.

The Scottish Mission congratulates all participants and thanks the families, leaders, and organisers who made this event possible.
