Hope House Brings Health Expo to Dunfermline’s Bruce Festival
Hope House actively engaged with the community at this year’s Bruce Festival in Dunfermline by hosting a well-received Health Expo that offered free health services, interactive activities, and educational resources, reinforcing its commitment to outreach and promoting healthy living amid a vibrant, family-friendly celebration of Scottish heritage.
Hope House took the initiative to contribute positively to the community by participating in this year’s Bruce Festival in Dunfermline, a well-established two-day event that annually attracts thousands of visitors.
Held in Dunfermline’s historic Pittencrieff Park, the Bruce Festival commemorates the life and legacy of Robert the Bruce, Scotland’s famed medieval king. This free, family-oriented festival presents a diverse programme featuring medieval battle re-enactments, jousting tournaments, artisan markets, stone lifting competitions, and children’s activities, offering a distinguished blend of history, culture, and community engagement.
The Hope House Health Expo provided valuable health services and resources to festival attendees. Over the two days, approximately 30 individuals took advantage of free health checks and personalised advice.

The expo also featured a popular smoothie bike, which attracted about 70 participants across all age groups, promoting healthy living in an enjoyable and engaging manner.

In addition to health services, visitors were offered complimentary books on health and spirituality, as well as bottles of water.
