Hope House Adventurers and Pathfinders Recognised for Dedication and Achievement
Celebrating dedication and growth, the Hope House Pathfinders Club held its 2025 Investiture Service on 22 November under the theme “Called, Committed, Commissioned – Pathventurers on a Purpose.”
The Hope House Pathfinders Club celebrated a spirit-filled and inspiring 2025 Investiture Service under the theme “Called, Committed, Commissioned – Pathventurers on a Purpose.” The ceremony served as a reminder that every Adventurer and Pathfinder is uniquely chosen by God, dedicated to service, and called to pursue their mission with courage and faith.
The event was graced by District Pastor Fitzroy Morris, alongside Scottish Mission Pathfinder Sponsors Paul and Yvonne Kanjewe, who encouraged both leaders and parents to remain steadfast in their commitment to the Pathfinder pledge and law, continuing the work for Christ.
This year’s guest speaker, Astley Rowe, delivered a powerful and thought-provoking message that resonated with parents, leaders, and youth alike. Emphasising purposeful living, faithful commitment, and spiritual growth through service, his address set the tone for what became a memorable and joyous occasion.
Celebrating Achievements and Growth
The Investiture witnessed 9 Adventurers and 24 Pathfinders being invested into various classes after months of dedication, learning, and service. Each child proudly showcased the results of their hard work, earning warm applause from the congregation and their families.
Several Pathfinders were recognised for exemplary behaviour and dedication, with the prestigious Good Conduct Ribbon Award presented to three outstanding members.
In the Adventurer Club, the honour of Most Outstanding Adventurer went to one child whose consistency, discipline, and joyful spirit left a remarkable impression throughout the year.
Graduations Toward Future Investiture
The day also highlighted the club’s growth, as 4 Adventurers and 3 Pathfinders graduated from their respective classes. Despite joining the programme later in the year, their determination and achievements were celebrated. These members are expected to be fully invested in their classes in the upcoming 2026 Pathfinder Year, contributing to the bright future of the Hope House Pathfinders Club.
Honouring Staff and Parents
No Pathfinder or Adventurer succeeds alone. The service appropriately recognised the unwavering dedication of the committed staff and junior staff, whose tireless efforts in mentorship, spiritual guidance, and leadership form the backbone of the club’s continued success.
Appreciation was also extended to the devoted parents, whose sacrifices — ensuring their children’s attendance, participation, and preparedness — were essential in shaping this uplifting year.
The Investiture Service was more than a ceremony — it was a celebration of purpose, commitment, and divine calling. As the Hope House Pathfinders Club moves into a new year, its members are poised to venture further into service, guided by faith and strengthened by the knowledge that they are truly Called, Committed, and Commissioned.
To God be the glory for the achievements of 2025 and for the greater things yet to come!
