Paisley Church Honours Long-Serving Deaconess
As she prepares to return to her native Malawi, Paisley Church has paid tribute to Nyuma Cecilia Kambalametore for 21 years of faithful ministry and service to the congregation and wider community.
The Paisley Church family recently joined together in deep gratitude to celebrate and honour church member Nyuma Cecilia Kambalametore for 21 years of devoted and faithful service. Throughout her ministry, Cecilia has left an indelible mark on the congregation through her kindness, compassion, and steadfast Christian example.
For many years, she faithfully served as a deaconess, carrying out her responsibilities with a rare blend of humility, care, and unwavering dedication. Cecilia has been a pillar of strength within the church community—supporting families in times of need, visiting the sick and vulnerable, offering encouragement to church members, and always stepping forward to help wherever she was needed. Through a life of quiet devotion, she has beautifully reflected the love of Christ and exemplified faithful Christian service.
Since moving to the United Kingdom in 2005, Cecilia has also been a passionate advocate for healthy living. She has volunteered countless hours in Health Ministries, inspiring those around her to care for both body and spirit.
As she embarks on an exciting new chapter of life back home in Malawi, she leaves behind a legacy that will be remembered with deep appreciation. While the entire Paisley Church family—and the Women's Ministries team in particular—will greatly miss her presence, they rejoice with her as she enters a season of well-deserved rest. The church wishes her God's richest blessings as she enjoys precious time with her beloved family, especially her grandchildren.

The Paisley Church family expresses its heartfelt gratitude to Cecilia for her selfless service, her open heart, and the profound support she has given to both the church and the wider community. As she begins this new chapter in Malawi, she goes with the love, gratitude, and prayers of the congregation.
