Paisley Sabbath School Branch Successfully Reaching Out to the Community
The Paisley Sabbath School Branch has made a notable impact in the local community through successful outreach events, including a Harvest celebration and a Christmas programme. By catering to both Ukrainian and Russian speakers, these initiatives have attracted a large turnout and significantly strengthened community bonds.
Paisley Sabbath School Branch has been making a significant impact in the local community through its recent outreach events. In a remarkable effort to connect with people in the community, the group successfully organised two special programmes — one for Harvest and another for Christmas. The branch caters to both Ukrainian and Russian speakers, offering services in both languages to support the local community, including many Ukrainian refugees.
The Harvest celebration was a moment of gratitude and reflection, marking God’s guidance throughout the year and His abundant blessings. Attendees brought fruits and vegetables as offerings, symbolising their appreciation for God’s provision. This event drew a remarkable turnout, with over 100 people in attendance, including around 30 visitors who came for the first time.

The second event, a Christmas programme, offered an opportunity to reflect on the true meaning of the season. Instead of focusing on consumerism, the gathering emphasised the spirit of giving and the importance of sharing with others, inspired by the gift of Jesus Christ. Like the Harvest event, this celebration attracted a large audience and fostered a warm sense of fellowship among attendees.
The Paisley Sabbath School Branch is delighted by the positive response to these initiatives and remains committed to reaching out to more people in the community. The success of these events highlights the growing interest in meaningful, faith-based gatherings that bring people together in a spirit of unity and reflection.
With plans for further outreach, the group is determined to continue making a difference, fostering deeper connections, and sharing the message of faith and hope with those around them.
