Part-time RE Teacher: Stanborough Secondary School
Stanborough Secondary School requires a Part Time RE Teacher

Stanborough School is seeking to appoint a qualified, inspirational and enthusiastic Religious Education Teacher to start as soon as possible. Working as part of a team of talented and highly motivated teachers, the ideal candidate will have a passion for teaching Religious Education and a commitment to upholding the values and ethos of our school. They will demonstrate good subject and curriculum knowledge as well as experience teaching KS3-KS5. A mentoring background is preferable but not essential.

Key duties:
• Teach RE to KS3 and KS4, with the ability to teach KS5 being an advantage.
• Uphold and promote the school’s values and ethos.
• Plan, prepare, and deliver high quality, engaging RE lessons in line with the national curriculum and GCSE specifications.
• Assess, record, and report on the development, progress, and attainment of students.
• Provide appropriate feedback to students and set targets for future progress.
• Maintain a safe and stimulating environment for all pupils.
• Contribute to the development and implementation of departmental policies and schemes of work.
• Stay updated with changes in curriculum and exam board specifications.
• Liaise with parents or guardians on their child's progress and participate in departmental meetings, parents' evenings, and whole school training events.
• Manage classroom resources and budget efficiently.
• Monitor and support the overall progress and development of students as a teacher/form tutor.
• Facilitate and encourage a learning experience that provides students the opportunity to achieve their individual potential.
