Prayer and Healing Sabbath at Irvine Church

Members of Irvine Church gathered for a special Prayer and Healing Sabbath, experiencing Christ's restoring power through worship, testimony, and united prayer.

On Sabbath, 11 July, Irvine Church was privileged to participate in a Prayer and Healing programme led by the Prayer Ministry leaders across the Scottish Mission.

The worship service centred on the theme "Wholeness in Christ," encouraging members to seek God together in prayer and to support one another through intercessory prayer.

A particularly meaningful highlight of the programme was the opportunity for members to share personal testimonies of God's work in bringing physical, emotional, and spiritual restoration to their lives. These heartfelt accounts offered a deeper glimpse into one another's journeys, fostering greater compassion, understanding, and fellowship within the congregation. At times, the testimonies moved listeners to tears, prompting one regular visitor to remark, "This is what church should be like."

Above all, the testimonies served as powerful reminders of God's faithfulness and healing power. They inspired reflection, strengthened faith, and encouraged the congregation to embrace a deeper, Spirit-filled life of prayer and expectation.

As the psalmist declares:

"Praise the LORD, my soul, and forget not all his benefits — who forgives all your sins and heals all your diseases" — Psalm 103:2–3 (NIV)
