Seven Pathfinder and Four Adventurer Teams Progress to Union Bible Experience
Teams from across the Scottish Mission excel at Mission Level Testing and prepare for the Union stage at Newbold College.
Teams from across the Scottish Mission have excelled at the Mission Level Pathfinder Bible Experience (PBE) and Adventurer Bible Experience (ABE) Testing, with seven Pathfinder teams and four Adventurer teams now advancing to the Union stage at Newbold College of Higher Education on 7 March.
The Mission Level Testing, held on 7 February in Dundee, marked the culmination of months of dedicated preparation. Clubs arrived with anticipation and determination, ready to demonstrate their knowledge of Scripture as well as the teamwork and spiritual growth cultivated through their studies.
In the weeks leading up to the event, teams met regularly to explore assigned passages, reflect on their meaning, and challenge one another. Leaders supported participants in uncovering practical lessons and deeper insights, helping them strengthen both faith and friendships. For many, preparation became more than study — it was a meaningful spiritual experience that fostered confidence, discipline, and perseverance.
The testing day itself was both challenging and inspiring. A strong sense of encouragement and unity was evident as clubs cheered each other on and engaged enthusiastically with the material. Witnessing so many young people committed to studying God’s Word was a highlight for organisers and leaders alike.

One Pathfinder shared that PBE had transformed the way they study the Bible, strengthening their faith while teaching valuable lessons in teamwork and perseverance. They described the Mission Testing as a rewarding challenge and expressed great excitement about advancing to the Union Level Testing. For them, this next stage represents not just another test, but an incredible opportunity to continue growing spiritually and to proudly represent their club.

As the qualifying teams prepare for the Union Bible Experience at Newbold, there is renewed excitement and purpose. PBE and ABE continue to demonstrate that studying Scripture can be engaging, transformative, and deeply impactful — shaping faith, character, and community for years to come.
