TWOTS Worship Night Brings Together Musicians, Youth, and Community

Bringing together youth and musicians from across Scotland, TWOTS hosted a powerful Worship & Praise Night at Glasgow filled with music, testimony, and community connection.

On Saturday, 1 November, The Word on the Street (TWOTS)* hosted a deeply moving Worship & Praise Night at Glasgow Seventh-day Adventist Church. The vision behind the evening was to create a space, through music and testimony, where people felt free to express their gratitude, struggles, and praise to God.

Musicians and singers joined from Glasgow, Edinburgh, and Aberdeen to take part, each contributing something meaningful to the programme. One of the most heart-warming aspects of the night was seeing several young people — friends who had not been involved for some time — step forward once again to lead in worship. Their presence helped shape the evening into one of those rare moments that stays with you long after you leave the building.

More than music, the evening offered a space for honesty, support, and community through worship.

The youth testimonies were particularly impactful. They spoke openly about the challenges they have faced, with some still navigating difficult seasons, while others shared how they had seen God lead them to victory. Regardless of where they were on the journey, their honesty and faith encouraged everyone listening.

The evening featured moving testimonies, giving voice to challenges overcome and victories celebrated.

Isaac, one of the Glasgow youth who shared his testimony, expressed his gratitude for being included in the programme, saying: “Thank you for making me part of the programme and letting me participate… This is truly a blessing for me. God hears every prayer, big or small. Even the quiet requests you think don’t matter, He sees them and will answer in His perfect time.”

Hearing such reflections from young people who have persevered through significant challenges captured the very spirit of the evening. Through music, testimony, and shared experience, the youth were reconnecting — with each other, with their church, and with God.

Nights like this remind us why worship matters. It is not just about music; it is about creating a space where people can be honest, supported, and strengthened by stories that help others feel seen.

Reflecting on the event, Pastor Claudiu Popescu expressed his appreciation to the TWOTS team and the youth for organising a memorable and inspiring evening. He commended the careful planning of the service and highlighted how it brought the youth and church community together for a powerful time of worship and connection. He also shared his excitement for similar events in the future and encouraged TWOTS to continue building on this success.
