Year-End Greeting from the Scottish Mission President

Scottish Mission President, Pastor Jimmy Botha, reflects on the past year and shares an inspiring year-end message of hope, gratitude, and vision for the future.

As 2024 draws to a close, we reflect on a year brimming with God’s blessings, challenges, and countless opportunities for growth. This year, the Scottish Mission embraced a new strategic vision, 'Gratefully Received, Abundantly Shared,' paving the way for a future deeply rooted in faith, service, and connection. With the addition of new leaders to our team, we’ve introduced several initiatives that are already showing meaningful progress and making a significant difference in our churches and communities.

From dynamic evangelism and youth empowerment to strengthening families and cultivating vibrant worship spaces, we have witnessed God’s guiding hand at work every step of the way. Throughout it all, our unwavering mission to see Scotland transformed by His love has remained steadfast.

As many celebrate the birth of Jesus this month, we are reminded of the enduring message of hope and joy His arrival has brought to a world in need. Whether you’re a long-time member, a first-time visitor, or someone seeking meaning this season, know that God loves and values you deeply. May your hearts be filled with peace, your homes with joy, and your lives enriched by His abundant grace.

On behalf of the Scottish Mission leadership, we wish you a blessed festive season and a new year filled with faith, purpose, and God’s overflowing blessings. As we step into the new year, let us carry forward the truth that, having gratefully received, we are called to abundantly share.

Yours faithfully,

Jimmy Botha

Scottish Mission President
