Community Creativity Shines at Take Time Tuesday with Special Guest
This week, Take Time Tuesday combined art, conversation, and community engagement, featuring a special visit from Pr Jimmy Botha.
This week’s Take Time Tuesday at Hope House was extra special, welcoming the Scottish Mission President alongside two community visitors. The weekly gathering, known for bringing people together to connect, craft, and share creativity, was filled with laughter, conversation, and colourful designs.
Participants dove into coaster painting, turning blank surfaces into personal works of art. As brushes swirled and colours blended, friendships were strengthened and new connections were made. The presence of the Scottish Mission President, Pr Jimmy Botha, added a sense of celebration and recognition to the event, highlighting the value of community and shared experiences.

Commenting on the value of community gatherings like Take Time Tuesday, Pr Botha said, “Initiatives like Take Time Tuesday are a valuable way to connect with the community. It provides a welcoming space for conversation, creativity, and relationship-building. Beyond the activities themselves, it serves as outreach — extending the church’s presence, offering support, and fostering a sense of belonging for everyone.”

Take Time Tuesday, held every week from 11am to 1:30pm at Hope House, Dunfermline, continues to bring the local community together, encouraging creativity and meaningful connections that brighten participants' day.
A light lunch is provided for all attendees. Everyone is welcome.
