Exploring Happiness at Crieff Church Youth-Led Service
Engaging the congregation through reflection and song, Crieff Church’s youth led a memorable service exploring true happiness.
Crieff Church’s youth took the lead in a special worship service on 22nd November 2025, bringing energy, creativity, and a fresh perspective to the congregation.
The young people, aged 11 to 19, spent four weeks planning, writing, and rehearsing the service to ensure it was engaging and meaningful. The theme, “What is the meaning of true happiness?”, was explored through a series of short talks delivered by several of the youth, highlighting that true joy comes from serving God and others.
Music featured prominently throughout the service. The Crieff Orchestra performed two special pieces, “What A Friend We Have In Jesus” and “I Surrender All,” while the Praise Team led lively congregational singing.

The service also included opportunities for the congregation to reflect, with the youth inviting attendees to consider what they think happiness is and what makes them happy. Responses revealed that happiness comes in many forms, rooted ultimately in a trusting and loving relationship with God.
The service was warmly received, with many praising the youth for their dedication and talent, reinforcing their valued role within Crieff Church’s welcoming community.
