Hurricane Melissa Emergency Appeal
Press release from the Adventist Development and Relief Agency UK (ADRA-UK).
The Adventist Development and Relief Agency UK (ADRA-UK)* have launched an urgent fundraising appeal to support communities devastated by Hurricane Melissa across Jamaica and neighbouring countries. Entire towns lie in ruins, families are displaced, and vital infrastructure is destroyed. ADRA teams are already on the ground delivering emergency aid — but they need your help. Every donation will provide food, water, shelter, and hope to those facing unimaginable loss.
“Families have lost homes, livelihoods, and any sense of normality in the wake of Hurricane Melissa. ADRA-UK is launching an emergency appeal to deliver immediate essentials—clean water, food, shelter materials, and hygiene kits—while laying the groundwork for long-term recovery. Every donation will help us reach vulnerable children, women, and men with dignity and speed,” said Sandra Golding, CEO of ADRA-UK.
Donate now and stand with the Caribbean in their hour of need. Together, we can rebuild lives.
