Paisley Pathfinders Celebrate Hiking Honour Achievement
Paisley Pathfinders successfully completed the Hiking Honour through an urban navigation hike that developed practical safety, navigation, and teamwork skills.
The Paisley Seventh-day Adventist Church Pathfinders have successfully completed their second hike as part of the Hiking Honour.
This hike focused on developing practical outdoor and everyday safety skills through navigating town centres and residential neighbourhoods. Throughout the journey, the Pathfinders learned to identify potential hazards, practise road safety, and make responsible decisions while walking in urban environments.
The planned route was a six-hour round trip, but thanks to the group's enthusiasm, teamwork, and excellent pace, it was completed in just three hours.
The hike provided an enjoyable opportunity for the Pathfinders to build confidence, develop their navigation and observation skills, and strengthen friendships while working together. Congratulations to everyone who took part in another successful step towards completing their Hiking Honour.
