Paisley Women’s Ministry Hosts Encouraging Afternoon of Learning and Fellowship
The Paisley Women’s Ministries brought together members and visitors for an afternoon of education, fellowship, and encouragement centred on women’s health and well-being.
On Sunday, 28 June, the Paisley Women’s Ministry welcomed members and visitors for an afternoon of learning, fellowship, and encouragement as part of its regular monthly gathering.
The programme featured an informative presentation on menopause, led by Dr Temitayo Odewusi, Lecturer in Nursing at Queen Margaret University, Scottish Mission Family Ministries Sponsor, and member of the Edinburgh Seventh-day Adventist Church. Drawing on her professional background in public health nursing and midwifery, Dr Odewusi shared practical information and valuable insights, creating a supportive environment where attendees could learn more about this important stage of women's health.
Following the presentation, guests enjoyed a traditional afternoon tea, providing an opportunity to connect, share experiences, and strengthen friendships over tea and cake. The event was further enriched by the presence of several visitors, reflecting the warm and welcoming spirit of the Paisley church community.

Commenting on the afternoon, Annah Masih, Paisley Women's Ministries Leader, said: "A heartfelt thank you goes to the Paisley Women’s Ministries leadership team, who worked so hard behind the scenes to organise and prepare the entire event. We look forward to welcoming everyone to our next gathering!"
