"Walking With Christ" Theme Inspires Adventurer Day at Paisley Church

Bringing together Adventurers, Pathfinders, and the wider church family, Paisley Church celebrated World Adventurer Day with worship, presentations, and fundraising support for youth ministry.

Paisley Seventh-day Adventist Church recently celebrated World Adventurer Day one week ahead of the official date in a joyful and spirit-filled programme involving the entire church family.

Under the theme “Walking With Christ,” presented by Mrs Cedrene Botha, the service reminded both children and adults of the importance of developing a close daily relationship with Jesus from an early age. Through music, presentations, participation, and fellowship, the Adventurers demonstrated their love for God and their desire to grow in faith and service.

The Pathfinders also played an important supporting role throughout the day, reflecting the spirit of unity and mentorship within the children’s and youth ministries at Paisley Church. Their involvement brought encouragement and added to the celebratory atmosphere.

A special highlight of the programme was the generous support shown by church members and friends, with donations totalling £240 raised in support of the upcoming BUC Pathfinder Camporee. The contribution will help support young people preparing for this important spiritual and social experience.

The celebration concluded with the cutting of a beautifully decorated Adventurer-themed cake, bringing to a close a day marked by joy, fellowship, gratitude, and praise to God.

Paisley Church continues to thank God for the dedication of the Adventurer and Pathfinder leaders, the support of parents, and the enthusiasm of the children who make these ministries a tremendous blessing to the church family and community.
