West of Scotland District Holds Final Fellowship Day of 2025

Celebrating faith and community, the West of Scotland District hosted its final District Day of Fellowship of 2025.

On 22 November, the West of Scotland District hosted its final District Day of Fellowship for the year, bringing together churches and Sabbath School branches from across the region. The event, organised by the Paisley Sabbath School Branch (Ukrainian group), offered a day of worship, spiritual encouragement, and community connection.

The theme, “Rise Above the Waves: Fixing Our Eyes on Jesus in a Turbulent World,” was inspired by Matthew 14:22–33. West of Scotland District Pastor Ratko Risteski delivered a sermon reminding attendees that, even amid life’s challenges, hope and stability are found in keeping faith in Jesus. Drawing on the biblical example of Peter, the message encouraged participants to trust in Christ and maintain their focus on Him, regardless of life’s storms.

The gathering provided an opportunity for members from Faifley, Irvine, and Paisley to unite in worship and fellowship. The atmosphere throughout the day reflected joy, reverence, and a shared commitment to supporting one another as a faith community navigating uncertain times.

A special highlight was the dedication of four children to God. Families were acknowledged for their devotion, and prayers were offered for wisdom and guidance as they raise their children in the ways of the Lord.
