ADRA-UK Launches 2026 Fundraising Appeal

Launching on 28 March, this year’s appeal centres on the theme ‘See. Love. Serve.’, highlighting love in action and service that brings hope.

The time has come, a new opportunity for people to come together in support of communities around the world and the UK through the 2026 Annual Appeal. Launching on the 28th of March, this year’s annual appeal centres on the theme ‘See. Love. Serve’, highlighting love that reaches out and service that brings hope.

Everyone Can Play a Part

All of us can play a part in supporting the ADRA-UK Annual Appeal. Children, teens, youth, adults, families, church departments, and even whole conferences can get involved in ways that suit their interests and abilities. It is always inspiring to see individuals and families step up creatively. There was a family of four who, whilst on holiday in Spain, completed a multi-day fundraising walk along a pilgrimage route. The children wanted to raise awareness of ADRA’s work, so they set up a JustGiving page, shared daily photos and videos, and raised over £2,000 online through their efforts.

Across the country, we saw a wonderful variety of how people support ADRA. An ADRA youth ambassador hosted an ice-cream stall at a Scottish Mission youth event, a Women’s Ministries department organised a community tea party, and a church music department held a winter concert for an emergency appeal.

ADRA Youth Ambassador from Musselburgh hosted a table selling ice-cream at a Scottish Mission Youth Sports Day last summer.

Some churches organised 5K walks together, while others supported individual initiatives—like a father and son running a local half marathon. These activities not only raised vital funds but also showed local communities that our churches care deeply about people in need. And the best part is you can contribute towards the ADRA Annual Appeal doing what you enjoy.

Bankole Davies-Browne from Dundee completed a 21.3 km run in 2 hours, 12 minutes, and 29 seconds, raising around £500 to support ADRA projects around the world.

Why your support matters

With your help this year we’ll continue strengthening communities through education, health, sustainable livelihoods and emergency response efforts.

This includes:

Ensuring access to education: Giving children the chance to learn, grow and build a better future.

Feeding families: Providing essential food supplies to those facing hunger.

Building resilience: Equipping communities with education, skills and resources for a sustainable future.

Providing safety: Assisting refugees, women and children fleeing violence and persecution.

Funds raised will help communities in India, Myanmar, Nepal, Somalia, South Sudan, Thailand, Zambia, and more.

  • £10 could provide access to a personal hygiene kit for a family of four.

  • £20 could provide a simple school kit—notebooks, pens, a pencil case, and a backpack—so a child can attend school with dignity and the tools to learn.

  • £50 helps us to respond to disasters immediately.
